A man has tested positive for drugs after a crash that put him in hospital.

Officers were called to a single-vehicle collision in Oxnead Lane in Woodton at 8.09pm on Wednesday, February 28.

Emergency services closed the south Norfolk road as they worked to make the area safe.

Police tested the man using a roadside drug wipe which indicated a positive result.

The driver, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.

He has since been released as the investigation goes on.
