A man has admitted stealing £1,880 worth of products from shops in Norfolk.

Craig Francis-Clarke, aged 26, of no fixed abode, appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and confessed to four counts of shoplifting.

He was arrested in Costessey on Monday after a stop and search caught him with a large number of cosmetic products that had been stolen from a shop in Longwater Retail Park.

Further investigations linked him to three other thefts in Norwich on January 20 and January 26, and Attleborough on February 2, where cosmetics, DIY tools and chocolates were stolen.

Francis-Clarke has been released on bail until his next court appearance at Norwich Magistrates' Court on April 18.
