Two Norwich-based businesses have won prestigious awards at the world's biggest education technology awards show.  

Developing Experts and Bedrock Learning won awards at the Bett UK Awards 2024 - a celebration of the most innovative technologies transforming the lives of students and educators worldwide. 

The event took place on January 24 at London’s ExCeL Centre.

Developing Experts won a Bett Award in the category Primary Digital Learning Product Broad Curriculum, offering a library of more than a thousand interactive science lessons - with experiments, handouts, assessments and career links which are mapped against the national curriculum.

Sarah Mintey, chief executive of Developing Experts, said: “I am thrilled that Developing Experts has won this award, the team is committed to making sure our schools have access to the very best science curriculum to inspire the next generation to make informed decisions about careers in STEM.”

Bedrock Learning, a digital literacy resource designed to help secondary schools transform their English curriculum, won in the Secondary Digital Learning Product category.

This year’s Bett show kicked off with world-renowned ballerina Dame Darcey Bussell promoting the arts in schools, followed by MP Gillian Keegan, the secretary of state for education, who delivered an opening speech.

Later acclaimed documentary maker Louis Theroux interviewed award-winning British rapper Loyle Carner about neurodiversity in schools.
