A woman was left bloodied after an attack during which her ear was bitten at an N-Dubz gig at Earlham Park in Norwich.

Drunken Michael Trigg, 34, became aggressive after being barred from receiving further free drinks in the VIP section of the outdoor concert in August last year.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told he attacked a woman pushing her over leaving her bleeding and injured.

Sarah Fiddy, prosecuting, said police were called after the terrified woman mouthed the words “help me” to security staff.

Father-of-four Trigg, of Church Road in Cantley, pleaded guilty to assault.

Emma Lloyd, mitigating, said since the incident he had been working to address issues with drink and his mental health.

“He is in a very different situation than he was last August,” she added.

He will be sentenced on April 3. Magistrates granted conditional bail on condition not to contact the victim or visit an address in Norwich.

The chart-topping UK hip hop collective, fronted by Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer, were amongst a series of gigs at the park last summer headlining a day-long bill of urban music acts.
