From a dog exercise field to a new bridge, organisations across Norfolk have posted dozens of public notices over the last week.

Here are five you should be aware of this week and the next.

1. Dental practice expansion

Andrew Brown Dental Practice in Hall Road has applied to Norwich City Council for permission to convert an adjoining two-bedroom flat into two new examination rooms

This would allow the practitioner to employ a new member of staff and move two of the part-time trainee nurses into full-time work.

Masoud Shahram, the practice's clinical director, confirmed they would be taking on more private patients if the expansion is approved.

2. Public consultation for city gateway regeneration

Whitbread, the parent company of Premier Inn, is launching a public consultation on its plans to re-develop its Nelson Hotel site in Prince of Wales Road, Norwich.

The proposals would see the space - which currently consists of the hotel, the Nelson Table Table restaurant and several unused commercial units - demolished and replaced with a larger Premier Inn, purpose-built accommodation for students and new homes.

The public can share their views on the plans via a public survey at norwichnelson.co.uk.

Public exhibitions will also be carried out on February 7 and February 10 at the hotel.

3. Claims to the estate of Dorothy Anne Bush

Anybody having a claim against or an interest in the estate of Dorothy Anne Bush of 22 Priors Drive in Norwich, who died on December 1, is asked to send a written notice to the address below on or before March 25.

After this date, the estate will be distributed as per the notices received.

This notice was issued by Heritage Limited at 13 Hellesdon Park Road, Drayton High Road, Norwich, NR6 5DR.

4. New dog exercise field

Plans have been submitted to Broadland District Council for land west of Reedham Road in Moulton St Mary to be changed from agricultural use to leisure.

The applicant, MD Wright and Partners, is seeking to change the use of the site to a dog-walking facility which would be screened from neighbouring houses by existing landscaping.

The proposed opening hours are 7am to 8pm every day. A decision on the bid is expected by March 29.

5. First designs unveiled for new bridge

The National Trust has unveiled its first designs for a long-awaited new bridge in Stiffkey which will replace a wooden footbridge used to cross the village’s salt marshes for more than half a century.

It has now revealed its initial designs for a single-span steel bridge which is expected to be built by the end of this year.

Locals got a first look at the designs at a drop-in session held by the National Trust at Morston Village Hall on January 25.
