The A146 Loddon Road was closed after a two-car crash.
The crash happened at around 11.50am causing the road to be blocked.
The incident happened between Holverston and Thurton.
The police closed the road at 12.10pm putting diversions in place towards Hall Road and Cooke's Road.

Heavy traffic on the diversion routes built, with drivers urged to take care on the narrower country roads.
At least 30-minute delays were expected as traffic is building both ways with tailbacks to Thurton and Slade Lane.
Fire and ambulance were also on the scene as one man and one woman were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
